Pursuant to Official Letter No. 5868/Traffic Safety - Traffic Safety dated June 15, 2022 of the Ministry of Transport providing for the finalization of the draft maritime officer training framework program.

According to the current actual needs of training Vietnamese maritime officers.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, will organize a training course for Operators of Ships and Ships.

I . SUBJECTS FOR Recruiting:

1. Subject of review recruit are high school graduates or equivalent.

II . RECRUITMENT METHOD:

The Academy selects students in two ways:

(1) Admission is based on the results of the high school graduation exam in 2022;

(2) Combined admission (for seafarers with experience in going to the border).

III. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

V . INFORMATION OF FEES, SCHOLARSHIPS AND JOB AFTER GRADUATION.

• Committed students after graduation to work on professional fleets with high salary (from 50 million to 100 million depending on title and domestic or foreign fleet).
• Students are supported with training costs.
• The training period is 2.5 years.
  • In the first year of training in specialized maritime knowledge, seafarers will be granted a Certificate of Sailor on Watch;
  • The second year allows crew members to board the ship to work, study, accumulate practical experience and earn an expected income of 20 million/month;
  • 6 months of the third year: Complete the remaining subjects and take the final exam for the operation officer's degree.
